Essay 5: Why Not Now?

In the struggle that has gone on between democratists and anti-democratists, Almighty God has always known which side would emerge victorious.

Whatever questions arise about democracy or about its spread to other nations or about its problems internally or externally, do not alter the fact that our movement has prevented our enemy from reaching his goal.

Believers know there is nothing that is going to stop the Creator's plan for the human race from continuing to move forward. Repeat: nothing. The defeat of Lucifer is an important part of His overall plan. God's arch enemy, who has been trying to take control of all His creation and all His creatures has failed in those attempts.

Is it too much to hope for that we are going to be able to get rid of Lucifer altogether? Are we far removed from arriving at that condition here on earth?

How much more turmoil and anguish must the human race endure before we receive the gift of peace - real, enduring, lasting peace? Certainly if Lucifer is banished from among us we can realistically expect all of the evil in this world to go with him. God's plan does call for Lucifer to leave this earth at some point in human history. God's plan does call for the human race to be free of him eventually. Almost all believers believe that. Is Lucifer's failure to conquer the world a prelude to his banishment? It is.

Why is God going to banish Lucifer? So that His plan for the human race can continue to move forward.

Why is Lucifer fighting so hard to avoid banishment? Because he is aware God's plan calls for his banishment and he dreads having to go back from whence he came and having to remain there for all eternity.
